I became a believer in the saving grace of Jesus Christ at an early age. I didn't receive a baptism until August 8, 2010. It's complicated. A lot happened in between. :)
Running won't be my idol. Here's a post about it. My aim is to find contentment in honoring the Lord in all aspects of life, running and non-running.

Trust in the LORD with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways submit to him, and he will make your paths straight.
Be kind and compassionate to one another, forgiving each other, just as in Christ God forgave you.
For where your treasure is, there your heart will be also.
“I am the vine; you are the branches. If a man remains in me and I in him, he will bear much fruit; apart from me you can do nothing.
2 Corinthians 5: 17

2 Corinthians 5:20-21
