Happy Birthday, Matthew!

Four years ago today, I was a week overdue with a little guy...
The ultra sound doctor told me I should have a nice 6-7 pound baby. ...
But I brought home a 9# 3oz Matthew Noah.

And he's turning in to quite the outdoorsman...
....and a bit of a rascal, who knows how to be sneaky. :) (Not sure where he gets that from)
Matthew, you have stolen my heart.

Happy Birthday, my tenderhearted fisherman!

  1. Great celebration of life. All your children are fortunate to have the parents they have. I can't wait to see the boys running with you and Jon.

  18. Happy Birthday to Matthew!! And Loved your race report from Boston. I don't always read the race reports but yours I read every lovely word!! Sounds a lot like how I felt at the end of Boston. The cow bells, the feelings of just wanting to be done and hoping to make it. I slowed waaaaay down!! I think I was doing 10 min miles at the end. Congrats to you! 3 pace bands? I still don't even know what a pace band is. Thinking I might not find out if I've had luck without it up to know....not sure yet. Why are your posts not showing up on my blog roll? this is frustrating because you are one that I want to keep up with! I've tried everything. Is there a reason I can't comment on your boston report?

Thanks for your comment. I'm resting and reevaluating my training plan. :) I knew from the start that 50 miles a week is about my sweet spot and so I should just stay there and not try for more miles.
