Stats from week 9-12 Boston training, Day 30 & a song

Training stuff:
Excluding the months of June and July almost 2 years ago when Levi was born, these have to be the strangest stats I have had.  All runs were "easy"... a few bike doubles, one 50+ mile bike ride on the balcony that left me with a sore knee... It's shaping up to be an "interesting" training cycle.

My mission, at the moment, is to run only easy runs until I have a "green light." I still feel like I am on a "yellow", but I am enjoying running again.

For believers
Thanks for reading along with me and providing affirmation to me as I posted each of the daily challenge posts.  It has been a blessing!
I received this email yesterday:

Congratulations on completing the 30-Day Husband Encouragement Challenge!

How has this challenge changed your heart and life? Did God encourage you as you planned ways to encourage your husband? Were there difficult days where you simply needed to trust that God was working?

Remember that God is faithful, and He will bless you for your willingness to obey Him. His ways are not our ways, and perhaps He will honor you in ways you do not expect, but one thing is sure: you will never be the same because of your commitment to be more like Christ!

What kinds of victories have you experienced in your home since you started the "30-Day Husband Encouragement Challenge"? Please take a moment to share these victories with us at: http://www.reviveourhearts.com/interact/contactus.htm

  4. Congrats on finishing your challenge - that's gotta feel so great!

Yellow light running is better than red light running, right? Hang in there, fingers crossed here that all is going to be good!!

And 50 miles on the bike? Good golly, that must have taken awhile. I did 44 and it was 3-hours...ugh!

  6. Nice work! Interesting is right but DEDICATED for sure!!! 50 miles! I went 50 miles once and I had MUCH more than a sore knee-ha! I was seriously out of "commission" for like a week!! You're running, the light is at least yellow and you still have 4 weeks! I hope, all things considered, you're super encouraged by that!!

Congrats on completing the challenge. I'm pretty sure my husband would like me to START the challenge this week......

  8. Agree with most everyone here--love the song and yellow is far better than red... 50 miles on a trainer is crazy!

  12. I'm pretty much obsessed with numbers and tracking things when it comes to anything I get involved in - like running.

Is that graph something you whipped up in Excel? Or are you using a different program that you enter data into and then it makes a graph for you?

  13. Keep it easy on yellow until you are certain about the green. Then you will be way past the red. Keep it going! I love that song!

  19. sooooo...what's the latest?! I'm thinking of you and hope you are continuing to heal!

I have no probs running my recovery/compression socks, but maybe they aren't as constrictive as yours? I like the added support following a long run.
