Husband Encouragement Challenge day 14

Day 14
"The righteous man walks in his integrity." (Proverbs 20:7a)

Every week there are news reports about men who gave in to temptations and compromised what they said they believed. We hear countless reports about dishonest business dealings, hidden infidelity, and hypocritical leaders. It's so easy to focus on these things and ignore those who are being honest, faithful, and genuine. As you continue in the "30-Day Husband Encouragement Challenge", determine to look for ways that your husband stands against the culture.

Is your spouse a man of integrity? Is he fair in his dealings with people? Does he understand the meaning of justice? Is he honest in business? Unhypocritical in his faith? Consider all the ways a man can live in integrity, and praise your husband for one of them.

As you have the opportunity--as it is appropriate--share examples of your husband's honesty and integrity with others.
Personal note here:
Integrity is extremely important to me, and perhaps the number one reason I chose my husband (besides his hotness, of course!). This email was a good reminder to me that this is one of his character strengths.

For the last 11 years we have been married, he has ran his own business. Though we are currently facing some struggles with it, it has always been conducted with fairness and honesty. I will mention this tonight to him and how much I appreciate that he is trustworthy and keeps his word.

Also, I thank my dad for teaching me that, "Integrity is one thing that no one can take away from you."

  1. Having a reminder to encourage our husbands is great! A few days ago, I heard a sweet little boy tell his mom, "Great job, Mom!" after she finished singing a song at church. My guess is that he had heard encouraging words at his house many times before.

Please comment! I love hearing from you!!! ♥
